I don’t really consider myself a Type A personality, but more than a few people throughout this process have made comment to the contrary. Would a Type A pack twinkies in their special needs bag? I don’t think so, but obviously a few of you out there disagree.
However, I will admit I need a VERY thorough checklist for my races for my own comfort level…and if I need a detailed list for a regular workout or race, then you can imagine how detailed an Ironman checklist I need.
So I present to you my ultimate triathlon checklist. The first page is my everyday workout(s) list since I can’t trust myself to bring basic essentials like a bike lock or pants when I need them.
The second page is my Ironman checklist divided by the 8 different (OMG – eight, really?) bags I’ll need to prepare before the race.
So, yes, this might seem slightly Type A, but I’m just not smart enough to keep this all sorted out in my brain.
